SLP SEEDS recently celebrated Earth Day by making a weeklong Newsletter with resources and information. I want to share that here with everyone. It will read a little different, but here it is:
Normally, this would be SLP SEEDS' 6th annual Earth Day Community Meal Celebration. But, due to COVID-19, this year looks a little different. We still want to take this opportunity to share some important topics with you all!
Every day this week, we will send you an email with a different theme, some will have original SLP SEEDS videos, some will have an interactive lunch hour, and all will have resources for you to do a deeper dive on your own.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. This is an important milestone and serves as a conscious reminder of how fragile our planet is and how important it is for us to protect it. We celebrate to raise environmental consciousness and awareness. During this extenuating circumstances that we have found ourselves in, it is more important than ever to appreciate what the earth gives us every day.
You can learn more about the history, the challenges, and more on the official Earth Day website: https://www.earthday.org
SLP SEEDS believes in the practice of Tikkun Olam, which is a Jewish tradition referring to repairing the world. We do this every day by practicing gratitude and regenerative agricultural practices.
So Thank You for joining us this week as we share more information and we can all work together to repair the earth.
